| This is an early portrait of my primary model, Sarah, whose image
appears again and again in these pages. This is a detail from an image
of her full standing figure made about ten years ago. I have been
looking forward to printing this for a long time, but have lacked
the skills I felt I needed until now. I began printing about half-way
to dark and continued to print deeper and deeper with each successive
block. The finished print is VERY blue and feels like hanging in very
deep Caribbean water looking to infinity. Blue, blue, blue. Very beautiful
print, very nice to look at, very satisfying!
